In 1973, Dr. Paul Black, a great preacher and minister to the incarcerated, took Brother Harrell Noble under his wing and taught him how to cover Bibles. At the time, Harrell was ministering with his parents, Don and Martha Noble, in evangelism.
Brother Harrell took the time to teach his father the craft, and the two of them began covering Bibles together. Over the years, both Harrell and Don covered thousands of Bibles all over the United States and made many improvements to the techniques they learned over 40 years ago.
A few years a go, Don went home to be with the Lord, but the ministry of Bible-covering lives on in the work of both his son, Harrell, and his grandson, Brad.
